Here is a little about us, our history, our alliance, what we offer, and what we're looking for What we offer: * All kinds of PvP - big fleet PvP with our allies, smaller roaming gangs, black ops gangs, capital ship work, etc. * A substantial and possibly unmatched Corp Benefits scheme open to all participating members, which includes: - HAC subsidy: corp provides all HAC's for between 30-70% market price - Recon subsidy: corp provides all HAC's for between 30-70% market price - Free interceptors - Free Logistics ships + 30m ISK for the fitting - Fleet/RR Battleship reimbursement - Free replacement Trimark rigs for lost Fleet/RR Battleships - Command Ship reimbursement - Reimbursement on Black Ops BS if lost in organised action - Capital ship reimbursement, with the ISK reserve to back that promise up should the worst happen - Eligibility to the benefits scheme is optional, however approx 70% of pilots choose to join the benefits scheme, which does have some (very reasonable) activity requirements * Decent 0.0 space - We live in Catch, and we have access to some resource rich deadend constellations, and docking in -A- outposts, if you need to make some ISK. * A zero percent tax rate - we don't believe in penalising the members who need ISK the most (those who NPC or mission) * A unique roleplay dimension which adds meaning and substance to what we do within our alliance. It isnt 'just' mindless PvP. * Fun - you are free to play as it suits you, and you're encouraged to have a life outside of eve. * Stablity - very few people leave our corp, and we keep good relations with those who do - they often come back! * Help with logisitcs, we can help move your ships/items for you and help get you set up in Catch. We have access to -A- jump bridge network. * If you have a capital, we'll help you with cynos and you can use corp fuel to get about. * In the longer term, if you don't fly a cap ship, we can and do help get our members in capitals where such help is needed. We can help fund it. * Active and highly profitable alt corp for ISK generation (more details on successful application). * A supportive environment of PvP veterans where you can learn and develop your in-game skills (if you need to!) What we're looking for potential recruits * You need to be pretty well balanced, we tend to favour mature people who also have a sense of humour and are able to laugh at themselves. * You'll need be aged over 18. * You can fly a HAC or Recon, PLUS either an Interdictor or a Battleship with T2 large guns (this is so you can enjoy our common PvP activities to the full) * A working knowledge of how to survive and thrive in 0.0 space * Teamspeak and a microphone. * Your limited API key will be requested. * If you're not a very experienced PvP'er, or a bit rusty, an open mind and a willingness to accept well intended advice. O Thief The Littlest Hobos Ushra'Khan	Posted - 2009.09.05 15:10:00 - [2] Edited by: O Thief on 05/09/2009 15:10:10 About the Corp We're currently about 140 strong, and a good 50 of that are our various alts or alliance POS gunners, with a focus on the EU timezone, and a token US presence whom we love dearly. We are mainly an EU corp and tend to prefer recruiting EU players as that is when our leadership is active. We have a balance of casual and power-gamers. Average age is 25-35 with a few exceptions. Most players are very experienced PvPers, who have been exposed to a variety of tactical situations. We've done pretty much everything and are happy to share knowledge, whilst being open to learning ourselves. We're a very 'capital heavy' (60+) small corp, but we use them with discretion. The corporation is a supportive environment where individual opinions do count and help shape the decision we make. We have an informal leadership structure and members are free to persue what they enjoy in the game. We hope that will be flying with us shooting things, but if you want to farm LP for a special toy, or do something a little unusual, that is fine provided it is not your sole activity :p What you see is what you get - 100% open and honest, no hidden agendas, no messy politics. Everything is out in the open and the leadership are, first and foremost, long-term EVE friends which leads to a stable corp environment. Here is the link: Corp History About our alliance Ushra'Khan is the oldest active alliance in the game, and a respected one too. They have a rich, vibrant history, and we've been with them for much of it. We first flew with them around 2.5 years ago, helping them successfully defend the first seige of their outpost at the time. Since then, we have maintained close ties and offered our help when we can. It was a natural progression for us to join with them, and it is something which fits perfectly with our own development and history. Ushra'Khan are a minmatar 'freedom fighter' anti-slavery roleplaying alliance. Sound geeky beyond words? Don't worry Essentially that means local chat should be in-character. We don't run around with costumes IRL pretending to be freedom fighters (well, not all of us :p). Its very much 'role play lite' from our perspective, but it does add an interesting dimension to the game, and is something we occasionally enjoy. It does not limit us in terms of PvP, ship types, etc. If anything it adds an added dimension and meaning to the alliance, which is one of the reasons U'K have been around as long as they have. How to apply You can drop an application in at the bottom station in Ipref, and we can take things from there. We'll speak with you to move things forward. You can also join our public channel 'The Big Issue' and have a chat with us and some of our friends. You may need to be persistent! We're a good corp, and we get a fair bit of interest.
